Radipole Rabbit Rescue is a small, not for profit group, dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of unwanted or neglected domestic rabbits. With the long term goal of rehoming them to suitable homes.
New Rabbit guardians should have a good understanding of rabbit welfare, diet, companionship and space.
We are opening our doors in Autumn 2025 once the rabbit housing is complete
We have the summer of 2025 to raise some much needed funds, which will go towards making sure our rabbits are vaccinated & neutered before they go to their forever homes.
Rabbits are sociable and require companionship of other rabbits, for this reason we will would only rehome a single rabbit if it is to be bonded with another rabbit at home. We can help with this process if required.
We will be rehoming to homes that meet RWAF standards, with a minimum space of 2m by 3m and 1m heigh, to allow exhibit natural behaviours - A hutch is not enough!
True bonds are only achieved once your rabbits are neutered. Baby bonds breakdown when rabbits reach adolescence and their hormones come into play. Intact rabbits can become aggressive, territorial and destructive. Spaying / Castrating your rabbits is the key to stopping this unwanted behaviour. There are also many health benefits to having you rabbits neutered.
